Lottie

Who doesn’t want to pamper and take care of themselves, especially their skin? I, for one, know how important it is to have skin that is not just glowy, but also feels super smooth, silky soft and exudes a dreamy fragrance. Keeping that in mind, I tried something new that made me fall in love with my skin even more. Plus, there is a hint of inspiration in this new soap series. As part of Pampered Sisters brand, we present the Cowgirl Christmas Soap Series. The first soap is a tribute to Carlotta J. Thompkins, aka “Lottie” Deno. Lottie soap checks all the boxes off when it comes to skincare and a delicate scent. Lottie Deno was a famous gambler in the US state of Texas during the nineteenth century. The soap’s fragrance matches the courage and boldness that Lottie possessed. Her travel adventures are reminiscence of exotic notes, which are reflected in the soap with a pleasant fusion of notes including sweet fruit, berries, pine, with an undertone of aromatic balsam and patchouli. The soap’s design portrays Lottie’s vibrant personality, which is why there is a combination of silver and a light off-white swirl with iridescent glitter and topped with wisdom white. Make no excuses to pamper your skin.. Feel, look and smell gorgeous…Go Bold with Pampered Sisters’ Lottie soap because you deserve it. Check out the making of Lottie on Pampered Sisters YouTube channel. Cowgirl Christmas Soap Series will be available to purchase on November 1, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Pampered Sisters’ regular inventory is online and ready for you to purchase at www.pamperedsisters.com.

Relaxing and Recharging

Relaxing and Recharging

When I wrote this book I had no idea, how it would speak to caregivers.  Because of the Pandemic, the caregiver’s pool has increased.  Parents became full time teachers while others became nursemaids to the elderly family members.  Even retail and restaurant employees became essential workers servicing the general public. Dining rooms/breakfast areas became classrooms and offices while kitchens converted to school cafeterias and evening restaurants.

This Pandemic has tapped patience and exhausted love, as well as, emotions of many caregivers.  In my first-ever published book, ‘Disconnect to Reconnect’, I openly share my triumphs, mistakes and tragedies to encourage you to laugh and cry out loud. Through my life lessons of being a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, co-worker and caregiver, I discovered that relaxing and recharging is a special gift that keeps on giving to oneself, as well as, the others in my care.  During this time, disconnect to reconnect is necessary to be able to relax and recharge.

I am inviting you to curl up with a cup of warm tea  and my book.  Just enjoy the moment because you deserve it!  Disconnect to Reconnect is available at www.pamperedsisters.com/product/disconnect-to-reconnect-book.

Love Your Body

Love Your Body

When was the last time you disrobed in front of a mirror?; or gazed over your nudity in a full-length mirror? The most neglected living organism of the human body is our skin. Our skin only becomes an issue when it affects our overall appearance.  Before you can love your body, you have to know your body and it starts from the outside in, your skin. Your skin is a reflection of your lifestyle.  Our daily skin regimen plays an essential part of how our skin will mature.  Many women apply moisturizers only to areas seen in public view, such as face, neck, elbows, hands, knees and feet.  Most soaps, cleaning agents, skin detoxes, and moisturizers are selected for fragrance, price, or brand.  However we have a problem when there is a skin reaction. Shopping for your body skin care products should be as intense as shopping for food.

Even Cleopatra knew the benefits of daily milk bath to maintain a soft and glowy skin tone. Asian women literally live in milk baths. Bahamian women apply papaya masks to their face while Polish women believe it good to detoxify skin with a daily hot cup of water infused with lemon juice .

I love to bath in homemade natural soaps made with Olive Oil and Shea Butter.  I moisturize regularly with water based lotions containing luxury butters and oils.

Get to know your body from the outside in, start with the skin.  Love Your Body. Drop that towel in front of the mirror and take a look for the first time at that beautiful nude woman looking back at you!

Build your skin regimen drawer with Pampered Sisters handcrafted soaps, homemade body butters and lotions and emulsified sugar scrub.  You can find our products at www.pamperedsisters.com

Me Time

Me Time

I love a good commercial.  Back in the day, I use to watch the spa bath commercial, Calgon.  Some of you can identify with the woman who works a hard 9 to 5 job and at the end of the day, she would scream “Calgon Take Me Away!”  The next scene was her relaxing in a steamy hot bubble bath.

My mother believes her bathroom is her sanctuary from the outside world and “us (her kids).”  Today, more than ever women need a space to take them away.  We need “Me Time!” more than ever.   Unfortunately the Pandemic, self quarratine, working from home and virtual meetings, seem to have swallowed up any hopes of a “Me Time” experience.

Scheduling a spa day can be a challenge within itself.  I would like to invite you to create your own “Me Time & Space”  Start by scheduling a morning or afternoon that works for you.  Plan out your time by gathering a few essentials for this appointment.  The most awesome thing about this spa date is that you can choose anything from candles, soaps, salts, towels, relaxing music, and more.

Remember to have on hand moisturizing products such as Cool Calm Body Butter containing Shea Butter (www.pamperedsisters/product/8-oz-body-butter). Once you have relaxed and recharge, enjoy a nice salad or chocolate candy.  The choice is yours. Enjoy the moment because you deserve to pamper yourself!!!

Don’t forget Pampered Sisters has all the essential moisturizing body loving products you need for your special time.  Feel free to stop by www.pamperedsisters.com when making your plans.
